We do have to warn you though – make sure you grill enough because these will disappear before your very eyes.
Grilled Peaches (serves 3-4)
- 2-3 not-too-ripe freestone peaches
- brown sugar
Wash the peaches and cut in half. Remove the pit and lay skin side down on a plate or cutting board. Using a spoon, add just enough brown sugar to fill the center of the peach. Place the peaches skin side down on the grill over medium heat. Depending upon the size of the peaches and temperature of the coals, in approximately 4 to 6 minutes the brown sugar will start to liquefy and bubble. At that point, remove them from the heat and let cool for a few minutes. Eat by themselves or quarter and serve over ice cream. Enjoy!
